In spring 2009 Koos tutored at The Academy of Fine Sewing & Design, North Bay Canada,  intimately teaching a select amount of dedicated students. He brought his unique couture to the academy and made them throw the rule book as far away as possible, the result was an intense masterclass with fresh ideas to take away and a new way of approaching the process of fashion.
